Our Journey
Our Impact & Invitation
Since its inception, Destiny Life Church has become a channel of blessing to many, impacting lives through both in-person gatherings and media outreach platforms. Through sound biblical teaching, spiritual empowerment, and consistent encouragement, many individuals have experienced remarkable transformation and growth. DLC has ordained and trained ministers for effective service, inspired members to pursue long-abandoned dreams — including careers in medicine and other professions — and commissioned missionaries to advance the Gospel in East Africa and beyond.
At Destiny Life Church, we are passionate about helping people discover purpose, grow in faith, and walk boldly in their God-given calling. If you are seeking genuine transformation, spiritual growth, and a Christ-centered team, we warmly invite you to make Destiny Life Church your home — especially if you are searching for a church family where you can belong, grow, and thrive.

Our Statement of Faith
We affirm our belief in the Christian faith by embracing its core principles and teachings as outlined below for understanding, clarity, and reflection.
1. The Scriptures
We believe the Bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).
2. Eternal Godhead
- We believe our God is One but manifested in three Persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit being co-equal (Deut. 6:4; Phil. 2:6).
- We believe God the Father is the Sender of the Word and the Begetter (John 14:28; John 16:28; John 1:14).
- We believe the Son, Jesus Christ, is the Word flesh-covered, the One Begotten, and has existed with the Father from the beginning (John 1:1, 14, 18).
- We believe the Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal (John 14:16; John 15:26).
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory (I Tim. 3:16; Acts 1:11; Rom. 8:34).
- We believe that at the return of Jesus Christ "the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (I Thess. 4:16-17).
- We believe that following the Tribulation, Jesus Christ shall return to earth as King of kings, and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign a thousand years (Rev. 5:10; 20:6).
3. Man, his fall, and redemption
- We believe man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world (Rom. 3:10, 23). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the works of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God (Rom. 5:14; 1 John 3:8).
- We believe salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God (Eph. 2:8-10).
4. Eternal life and new birth
- We believe in complete salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and obedience to the Gospel by repentance of sins. Man's first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh repentance. The New Birth is the born-again experience and is necessary to all men, and when experienced, produces eternal life (2 Cor. 7:10; John 3:3-5; 1 John 5:12).
- We believe in the work of the blood of Jesus, that it truly cleanses us from all unrighteousness. That faith in the work of the blood of Jesus makes us a new creature (2 Cor. 5:17; 1 John 1:9; Heb. 10:17).
- We believe in the existence of Hell and eternal retribution. The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Jesus Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and, therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The lake of fire is literal. The terms "eternal" and "everlasting," used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God (Heb. 9:27; Rev. 19:20).
5. Baptism in the Holy Spirit
- We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and that it is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial ability to speak in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance (Matt. 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:1-4).
- We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life producing the fruit of the Spirit and operating in His gifts (II Cor. 7:1; Heb. 12:10-14; I Thess. 4:7; Rom. 8:1-2; 1 Cor. 12).
6. Ordinances
- We believe that baptism in water is by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance is an outward expression of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Acts 8:36-39).
- We believe in the observance of the Lord's Supper as a memorial of His broken body and the New Testament in His blood (I Cor. 11:24-25).
- We believe that marriage constitutes a bond of lifetime commitment between one man and one woman and that it is the only legitimate, honorable, and holy estate instituted by God. It was ordained by God as the foundation and bond of family life for the mutual help and comfort of husband and wife, and for the welfare of the state (Gen. 2:18-25; Prov. 18:22; Heb. 13:4; I Cor. 7:10-11; I Cor. 6:9-10; Rom. 1:24-32).
7. Instructions to the church
- We believe in the five ministries God gave to His body: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Ministers and Teachers, "For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry" (Eph. 4:11-12).
- We believe in Christ's Great Commission to the church to go into all the world and preach the Gospel (Matt. 28:19).
- We believe that healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every member of the Church today (James 5:14-15; Mark 16:18; Isa. 53:4-5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24).
- We believe in the giving of tithes and offerings, that it is for all believers, and that it must not be done grudgingly but with a cheerful heart as a loving act of obedience to God (Mal. 3:10; 2 Cor. 9:6-10).
